God's Choice Is Not Always Man's

God chose the weak things of the world to shame the wise. 1 Corinthians 1:27

Has someone told you that you were not qualified?  If so welcome to the club.  Moses thought that he was no qualified; Gideon felt not qualified and so did Jeremiah.  The Scriptures said of the Apostles that the were looked upon as "ignorant and unlearned men."

Certainly the Apostle Paul would not have met the qualifications for a great soul winner and church planter based on his background.  But the Word of God says that God has chosen the weak things  of the world to confuse the wise; the base things to shame the proud.  In other words God does not choose the way man chooses.  While man looks strictly on the outward apperance, God looks at the inward potential and the greatness that He has deposited within you.

So the next time you are told or are feeling as though you do not qualifiy remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world and that you can do all things, through Christ, who is your source of strength.
